Perfect Day Hike  - This is the perfect day hike from Taipei. I opted for the extended route and it was challenging to me, but I am so happy that I did. The scenery... leer más and views were phenomenal and magnificent. My tour guide made sure that everything was perfect. I was not smart and did not bring any snacks and he gave me his food and water to make sure I was okay along the way. Where I’m from that’s called Southern hospitality. You will not regret this day hike.

  It was challenging but definitely fun and do-able! - It was a wonderful day on Saturday. Thank you for being so upbeat and patient with all of us. It's a highlight of my Taiwan trip.

  Increíble experiencia, todo perfecto, súper recomendable - Excelente guía, súper recomendable, muy amable y preparado , la pasamos de lo mejor, todo estuvo excelente , todo perfecto.

  Un día de senderismo cerca de Jiufen - Junto a dos colegas contratamos un tour de senderismo subiendo a 3 picos cerca de Jiufen. El guía nos recogió con mucha puntualidad por la mañana y nos llevó hasta... leer más el lugar de comienzo. Desde allí empezamos a subir monte arriba hasta la primera cima, apodada la tetera. De allí seguimos a la segunda y a la tercera. Nos hizo un día espectacular y el guía se portó de forma inmejorable. Almorzamos en un restaurante super tranquilo y con vistazas en Jiufen, bastante escondido, ni de broma lo hubieramos encontrado por cuenta propia.

  a hike to remember  - cristian was an amazing tour guide who took the time to walk us through what we needed for the hike the day before. he was also very reassuring as... leer más this was our 1st hike and we were thankful for the info he provided prior to the hike. the route that he took us on was indeed very scenic and it is apparent he has thought through and come up with the best way for hikers to take it easy but still go all the way to the top.
given the very sudden closure of the suspension bridge, cristian was able to make changes and adapt to all the changing circumstances that allowed us to make it all the way to the top in the time he said we would. 🙂

he is also very knowledgeable about all the various other hikes in taiwan and we are very much looking forward to joining him on another hike of alishan should we return to taiwan.

  VIsita do Taipei con Hola Taipei - He estado unos dias en Taipei y he tenido el mejor guía posible, Cristian de Hola Taipei. Le encanta la ciudad y te transmite el estusiamo por la cultura y... leer más la vida en la ciudad. Además te explica todo con mucho detalle y gran conocimiento tanto de los monumentos como de la historia y cultura de la ciudad y de los acontecimientos que han ido sucediendo en el siglo XX.Además me ha dicho sitios donde comprar, mercadillos de comida, restaurantes por lo que he pasado unos días estupendos. Además que es encantador y muy atento.

  Smooth and enjoyable tour  - Our family had a perfect private tour with Samuel. He picked us up just as planned and made sure we had a great day. Yehliu, Shifen, and Jiufen... leer más are all popular tourist destinations and Samuel was well informed and navigated everything so we could just relax and enjoy what we were seeing. He was happy to adjust the plan a bit for us and we also got some really great pictures! Don’t hesitate to book this, and I think extra cost of a private tour is well worth it for these sites.

  Beautiful hiking with full facilities  - Cristian, our guide, had planned the adventure with accuracy and attention to details. With a pick up at 8h15 with a comfortable minivan, after only 40 min drive we were... leer más at the trail starting point out of the city in the middle of a beautiful tropical forest. The first 6,8 km are a mix of stairs and flat paved trail. We encounter a big group of wild buffalos taking a mud bath. The most challenging part is the climb up to the pick, that is reachable with a long sequence of hundred of stairs. Cristian is supportive and motivating. Up there a beautiful view of Taipei city all the way to the ocean. All along the trail, Cristian is enthusiastic to share his knowledge about the history of Taiwan its contradictions and contemporary challenges. At the end of the trail, Luke, the driver, was waiting for us and with a Short drive down, we were back in Taipei. 5/5 adventure with a kind a knowledgeable guide.

  Mejor guia turistico en español (i català) en Taiwan - Recomiendo esta agencia, son puntuales, amenos, cultos y te llevan y explican desde los lugares mas turísticos a rincones especiales. Tenia reticencias a tomar guia, ya no, cumplieron con... leer más mis expectativas sobradamente.
Utilizamos TODOS sus servicios: excursión privada de 2 días por Taipei, otra a Jifen y Shifen; tambien nos organizaron un viaje de 5 días por la costa oeste: Sun Moon lake, Alishan, Tainan y Kaohsiung, no solo el recorrido y visitas imprescindibles también gestionaron los billetes de los autobuses y trenes bala (con horarios acorde lo visitado). Ya para finalizar también contratamos el servicio al aeropuerto.
Los precios por disponer de un guia 8 horas en exclusividad son mas que ajustados, máxime si también entran los traslados (por cierto, Cristian es un conductor seguro, nada comparable a la locura del trafico de Taiwan).
Hola Taipei y Cristian nos hicieron pasar unos días inmejorables por Taiwan. Gracias!

  You can't go wrong with this tour - I've done a lot of free walking tours all over the world, and Cris was, by far, one of the bests guides I've had. His love for Taiwan is palpable.... leer más I thought I was signing up for a small hike, instead, I got a hike, multiple history and geography lessons, cultural tips, a fun bike ride, and a newfound admiration for Taiwan and its people.

If you find yourself in town, you'll definitely want to do Hola Taipei's free walking tour to the Jiantan mountain. You won't regret it.

  Día genial / Great Day - La excursión a Yehliu y Jiufen fue genial. El parque geológico está muy chulo y es bastante interesante adivinar las formas de las rocas. Jiufen es un pueblo precioso, merece... leer más la pena visitarlo, y la casa de té dónde comes tiene unas vistas muy bonitas. Además, Christian es un guía súper simpático, aparte de fotógrafo, te explica la historia muy bien. Lo recomiendo!!!

The tour to Yehliu and Jiufen was great. The geological park is very nice and it’s very interesting to guess the forms of the rocks. Jiufen is a beautiful village, it’s worth to visit, and also the tea house where you eat has a fantastic views. Moreover, Christian is a fantastic guide, also a photographer, who explains the history very well. I recommend it!!!
