  Holidays in Taiwan  - We went to visit Taiwan country with a trip for 15 days. We are family with 3 kids between 14 and 8 years old. As Spanish people he was so crucial for enjoying the trip because we could rely on him to manage everything and just focused on discovering amazing things in Taiwan. Our trip began in Taipei, we drove across the county up to Kenting (south of the island) visiting the Alishan at sunrise and then come back up to Taipei via Taroko National Park. Thanks to HolaTaipei we had activities for kids along the trip as more adult activities like hiking and Paragliding at Waiao beach.

  La cara más alternativa de Taiwán con HolaTaipei - Cuando viajamos no acostumbramos a reservar viajes ni excursiones organizadas,
pero en un país como Taiwán fue clave. La gran barrera lingüística hace que cosas tan sencillas como pedir... leer más direcciones, coger un taxi o ir a cenar, se te hagan una montaña. Muchos lugares turísticos ni siquiera tienen las explicaciones traducidas al inglés, por lo que no disfrutas al 100% lo que estás viviendo. Por eso fue un acierto encontrar HolaTaipei. Además de hacer varias excursiones por Taiwán con ellos, nos recomendaron sitios estupendos donde comer y dormir. Personal amable, muy atento y con un amplio conocimiento de Taiwán, amenizaron nuestros días con historias y anécdotas taiwanesas. Además de visitar lo imprescindible tuvimos la oportunidad de ver un Taiwán más alternativo!

Geo Park, waterfall and Jiufen (sp?) all good and all different. Train St was a nice additional stop.

  Inmejorable - Esta pareja lleva viviendo y disfrutando muchos años en Taiwán y se nota.
Totalmente recomendable para los que quieran aprender de la cultura taiwanesa y su complicada historia. Si... leer más quieres descubrir ¨gemas ocultas¨ que no salen en los mapas turísticos has llegado al sitio correcto.

  Día de trekking y visita a Jiufen - Fuimos con Hola Taipei, e hicimos un trekking de aprox. 4 horas de duración, un circuito de tres cumbres desde donde todo el tiempo tienes unas vistas maravillosas de los... leer más cordones montañosos y la costas del norte de Taiwan. Yo quedé muy sorprendido con la variedad geográfica que se aprecia desde esas cimas.
Luego visitamos Jiufen, donde comimos en un restaurante local muy bueno, un final ideal para la jornada.
Cristian, el guía en esta oportunidad, sabe mucho del país, de su historia y su gente, relatando con un estilo propio y muy ameno, que invita a preguntar más. Y le gusta conversar y compartir sus experiencias, por lo que si tienes curiosidad, es de los mejores que encontrarás en la isla para charlar acerca de Taipei y Taiwan.
Fui con dos amigos más y los tres lo pasamos muy bien.
Cabe destacar también la puntualidad y buena organización de la excursión.

  Private Day Trip to Juifen, Shifen and Yehliu Park - Wilson was fantastic! He picked us up at our Hotel and the vehicle was a Mercedes Van that was very comfortable for the day trip. He was very... leer más knowledgable about the locations and handled everything and kept us to perfect schedule. He also took fantastic pictures and compiled a great video for us at the end of the trip.

I would highly recommend this trip if you are looking for great day trip. 5 stars for sure!

  Día genial / Great Day - La excursión a Yehliu y Jiufen fue genial. El parque geológico está muy chulo y es bastante interesante adivinar las formas de las rocas. Jiufen es un pueblo precioso, merece... leer más la pena visitarlo, y la casa de té dónde comes tiene unas vistas muy bonitas. Además, Christian es un guía súper simpático, aparte de fotógrafo, te explica la historia muy bien. Lo recomiendo!!!

The tour to Yehliu and Jiufen was great. The geological park is very nice and it’s very interesting to guess the forms of the rocks. Jiufen is a beautiful village, it’s worth to visit, and also the tea house where you eat has a fantastic views. Moreover, Christian is a fantastic guide, also a photographer, who explains the history very well. I recommend it!!!

  Tuvimos un fantástico trekking por la zona de Jiufen con Cristian. Circuito de 4 horas caminando haciendo tres cimas con vistas fantásticas. Explicaciones perfectas para hacernos conocer y entender mejor... leer más el país. Colofón en un restaurante estupendo, poco turístico, comida deliciosa y vistas espectaculares. Recomendable 100%.

  Jiufen, un lugar encantado - El parque super original, las formaciones de rocas muy curiosas y diferentes.
Jiufen un pueblo lleno de encanto y de la magia de Chihiro.

  a hike to remember  - cristian was an amazing tour guide who took the time to walk us through what we needed for the hike the day before. he was also very reassuring as... leer más this was our 1st hike and we were thankful for the info he provided prior to the hike. the route that he took us on was indeed very scenic and it is apparent he has thought through and come up with the best way for hikers to take it easy but still go all the way to the top.
given the very sudden closure of the suspension bridge, cristian was able to make changes and adapt to all the changing circumstances that allowed us to make it all the way to the top in the time he said we would. 🙂

he is also very knowledgeable about all the various other hikes in taiwan and we are very much looking forward to joining him on another hike of alishan should we return to taiwan.
