  Beautiful hiking with full facilities  - Cristian, our guide, had planned the adventure with accuracy and attention to details. With a pick up at 8h15 with a comfortable minivan, after only 40 min drive we were... leer más at the trail starting point out of the city in the middle of a beautiful tropical forest. The first 6,8 km are a mix of stairs and flat paved trail. We encounter a big group of wild buffalos taking a mud bath. The most challenging part is the climb up to the pick, that is reachable with a long sequence of hundred of stairs. Cristian is supportive and motivating. Up there a beautiful view of Taipei city all the way to the ocean. All along the trail, Cristian is enthusiastic to share his knowledge about the history of Taiwan its contradictions and contemporary challenges. At the end of the trail, Luke, the driver, was waiting for us and with a Short drive down, we were back in Taipei. 5/5 adventure with a kind a knowledgeable guide.

  Bonita experiencia en el norte de Taiwan  - Hace unos días hicimos un tour con "Hola Taipei" por el norte de Taiwan, Jiufen y el parque geológico de Yehliu, fuimos con la familia y unos amigos y la... leer más experiencia fué excelente. Cristian, nuestro guía hizo un trabajo too, en la visita a Jiufen fué de gran ayuda especialmente con la traducción en algunos momentos y recomendando sitios para las fotos.
La próxima vez que visitemos Taiwán volveremos a contar con Hola Taipei definitivamente para que nos acompañen en alguno de sus tours.

  La cara más alternativa de Taiwán con HolaTaipei - Cuando viajamos no acostumbramos a reservar viajes ni excursiones organizadas,
pero en un país como Taiwán fue clave. La gran barrera lingüística hace que cosas tan sencillas como pedir... leer más direcciones, coger un taxi o ir a cenar, se te hagan una montaña. Muchos lugares turísticos ni siquiera tienen las explicaciones traducidas al inglés, por lo que no disfrutas al 100% lo que estás viviendo. Por eso fue un acierto encontrar HolaTaipei. Además de hacer varias excursiones por Taiwán con ellos, nos recomendaron sitios estupendos donde comer y dormir. Personal amable, muy atento y con un amplio conocimiento de Taiwán, amenizaron nuestros días con historias y anécdotas taiwanesas. Además de visitar lo imprescindible tuvimos la oportunidad de ver un Taiwán más alternativo!

  a hike to remember  - cristian was an amazing tour guide who took the time to walk us through what we needed for the hike the day before. he was also very reassuring as... leer más this was our 1st hike and we were thankful for the info he provided prior to the hike. the route that he took us on was indeed very scenic and it is apparent he has thought through and come up with the best way for hikers to take it easy but still go all the way to the top.
given the very sudden closure of the suspension bridge, cristian was able to make changes and adapt to all the changing circumstances that allowed us to make it all the way to the top in the time he said we would. 🙂

he is also very knowledgeable about all the various other hikes in taiwan and we are very much looking forward to joining him on another hike of alishan should we return to taiwan.

  Holidays in Taiwan  - We went to visit Taiwan country with a trip for 15 days. We are family with 3 kids between 14 and 8 years old. As Spanish people he was so crucial for enjoying the trip because we could rely on him to manage everything and just focused on discovering amazing things in Taiwan. Our trip began in Taipei, we drove across the county up to Kenting (south of the island) visiting the Alishan at sunrise and then come back up to Taipei via Taroko National Park. Thanks to HolaTaipei we had activities for kids along the trip as more adult activities like hiking and Paragliding at Waiao beach.

  Muy recomendable - La vigilia del año nuevo chino fuimos con Roberto a visitar el barrio antiguo de Dadaocheng y el mercado de año nuevo que se celebrava en la zona. Roberto no solo te ensenya los sitios más turisticos sino que te muestra la parte más autentica de la ciudad y la manera de vivir de los taiwaneses. Durante la visita, te habla de la historia, la cultura y las tradiciones del pais.   Fab hike in Yangmingshan - We had a spare day in Taipei and Cristian took us (me and my two teenage boys) on a lovely hike to Qixing, the highest peak. Cristian was super patient... leer más and pleasant. Absolutely worth it, a fabulous day, highly recommend!

  Private Day Trip to Juifen, Shifen and Yehliu Park - Wilson was fantastic! He picked us up at our Hotel and the vehicle was a Mercedes Van that was very comfortable for the day trip. He was very... leer más knowledgable about the locations and handled everything and kept us to perfect schedule. He also took fantastic pictures and compiled a great video for us at the end of the trip.

I would highly recommend this trip if you are looking for great day trip. 5 stars for sure!

  Hiking tour to Jiantan mountain - I was the only joiner and was comfortable with the guide; Anusha. She shared honestly of her personal knowledge on the Grand hotel, temple(s), dutch architect, the ridge, mountains, trail,... leer más guard post, flora and fauna.
We visited the typical observatory sites. It was interesting to see Danshui and Keelung river merge. I was happiest on the rugged trail towards the end. I recommend this introductory hike to all who visit Taipei!

  Experience Taipei with Hola Taipei - Our tour with Cristian was a great experience and though time in Dadaocheng was short Cristian showed us the best that this historic area had to offer. He was extremely... leer más solicitous and accommodated as many of our requests as possible. One of the members of our group had mobility issues and he assisted her whenever it was needed. We thoroughly enjoyed his food recommendations as well as the tea factory visit. His explanations about the rituals in the temple were engaging.   Mejor guia turistico en español (i català) en Taiwan - Recomiendo esta agencia, son puntuales, amenos, cultos y te llevan y explican desde los lugares mas turísticos a rincones especiales. Tenia reticencias a tomar guia, ya no, cumplieron con... leer más mis expectativas sobradamente.
Utilizamos TODOS sus servicios: excursión privada de 2 días por Taipei, otra a Jifen y Shifen; tambien nos organizaron un viaje de 5 días por la costa oeste: Sun Moon lake, Alishan, Tainan y Kaohsiung, no solo el recorrido y visitas imprescindibles también gestionaron los billetes de los autobuses y trenes bala (con horarios acorde lo visitado). Ya para finalizar también contratamos el servicio al aeropuerto.
Los precios por disponer de un guia 8 horas en exclusividad son mas que ajustados, máxime si también entran los traslados (por cierto, Cristian es un conductor seguro, nada comparable a la locura del trafico de Taiwan).
Hola Taipei y Cristian nos hicieron pasar unos días inmejorables por Taiwan. Gracias!
