We will start the morning visiting a traditional market, where we will select the freshest ingredients. We will use these later to prepare the most tasty Taiwanese dishes. Feel the sounds of the morning market bustle, talk to the local merchants, and choose the best ingredients for your dishes.
Before jumping to the kitchen, we will relax and sit to enjoy a delicious Taiwanese tea, to leave behind the bustle of the market. Once refreshed, we will prepare a menu of 3 delicious dishes (including a dessert). Our patient teacher will lead us through the class, and she will explain all the tips and secrets of the authentic Taiwanese cuisine, and the most commonly used ingredients. We will cook the following dishes Sān bēi jī (三杯雞) “Three cups chicken”, Fènglí sū (鳳梨酥) the popular “Taiwanese Pinneaple Cake” and a third dish to be chosen between Cōng yóubǐng (蔥油餅) “Onion pancake” o Shuǐjiǎo (水餃), the world-famous dumplings.
